One of the first of many smiles you will encounter here at Santa Clara Animal Hospital is that of our receptionist April. April was born here in the Willamette Valley and has never found a good reason to leave. Mother of six kiddos of the human kind and nearly as many of the animal persuasion plus one slightly feral husband, she is well versed in chaos coordination, and is always ready to help whether you reach her by phone or at the front desk. While she enjoys animals of all species, you will truly see a twinkle in her eye when the large dogs come through the door, and since coming to work for us she has discovered a profound love for the bearded dragon.  When she's not at work, April enjoys crafting, sewing, leather lacing, camping, and spending entire days in the river with her rescue dogs.
