I have been a receptionist with Santa Clara Animal hospital since November 2016. I'm grateful for the opportunity to help animals and people everyday at work. I grew up with lots of different pets, and have always loved to be around animals. In my free time, I love to read, write, see concerts, and spend time with my two dogs and cat at home.
It has been my pleasure to work with and for the doctors and staff at Santa Clara Animal Hospital since July of 2004. Prior to joining Santa Clara Animal Hospital, I worked at another veterinary hospital for 6 years.
I am the caregiver to five kitty cats. Only one is a youngster at four years old, the rest are all very senior kitties.
I am blessed with three amazing children with four grandchildren (two boys and two girls ages two, three, five and seven). They all bring great joy and happiness into my life.
I am a big Oregon Duck football fan and attend every home game. I was born and raised a football fan due to the fact my Father was a Notre Dame graduate, class of 1943.
Loving and caring for animals has always been an important part of my life. I try to speak up for those that cannot speak for themselves. Before joining the SCAH team in 2015 I was a veterinary assistant and manager of a large animal clinic in Australia and the director of an equine rescue that rehabilitated and re-homed retired race horses. I share my life with two Australian Shepherds and two Siamese cats.
I grew up on a cattle ranch in a small town, and have always loved being around animals. I am fluent in English and Spanish. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs and painting. I joined Santa Clara Animal Hospital April 2014.

In my free time I'm busy exploring all that Eugene has to offer, loving on my two adorable kitties, getting lost on hikes, and running off to the coast on sunny days.

My job here is a dream come true!
